The Center for Astrophysics (CfA or Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics) is a research/education unit that is the combined effort of Harvard University and the Smithsonian Institute, consisting of the Harvard College Observatory (HCO) and the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO). Among the center's efforts is management and operation of the Astrophysics Data System (ADS).
