The Virgo Supercluster (aka Virgo SC, Local Supercluster, LSC, or LS) is a supercluster including the Virgo Cluster and the Local Group, and other galaxy clusters (and groups) such as the Fornax Cluster. It has now been declared to be a portion of a larger supercluster, which has been named Laniakea Supercluster. (With this new nomenclature, the term Local Supercluster logically applies to Laniakea, but the term is still often used for the Virgo supercluster, thus is ambiguous.)
