UVOIR

(UV, optical, and infrared)
(a spectral "band name" covering UV, visible light, and IR)

The term UVOIR (for UV, optical, and infrared) indicates all of ultraviolet, visible light and infrared and is used to describe astronomy and telescopes that cover all these bands. The mirrors of visible light telescopes can focus ultraviolet and infrared light so with UV- and IR-sensitive instruments, they can cover all three bands.
