Kepler-16b
(KOI-1611.02)
(exoplanet orbiting a binary star)
Kepler-16b is a giant extra-solar planet
orbiting a binary star, a circumbinary planet
(i.e., in orbit around the pair).
The stars, Kepler-16A and Kepler-16B are
a K dwarf and an M dwarf, orbiting each other
at about 0.2 AU with a period of about 41 days.
