IPHAS (for INT Photometry Halpha Survey
or INT Photometric Halpha Survey of the Northern Galactic Plane)
is an survey of H-alpha (Hα)
carried out using the Isaac Newton Telescope (INT) WFC with three
filters: the SDSS photometric system i' and r' filters,
and a narrow-band Hα filter.
An astronomical catalog combining IPHAS and UVEX
(UV-Excess Survey of the Northern Galactic Plane)
results is termed IGAPS for INT Galactic Plane Survey.
