Ethylene (C2H4 or ethene) is a hydrocarbon compound of two carbon and four hydrogen atoms. The shape is like the letter "H", with two carbon atoms bound by a double bond, each with two hydrogen atoms hanging off. At atmospheric pressure and temperature, it is a gas. It has been observed in the atmospheres of Neptune and Pluto.
