AtLAST
(Atacama Large Area Submillimeter Telescope)

AtLAST (for Atacama Large Area Submillimeter Telescope)
is a concept for a 50m-class telescope on the
Atacama Desert with at least a 1 square degree
field of view and 1000 pixel imaging capability, aimed
at surveys.
Note that ATLAST (all capitalized) is also used for an entirely
unrelated project: it is the name of one of the two LUVOIR
proposals.
