AEGIS

AEGIS (All-wavelength Extended Groth Strip International Survey) was a survey of a portion of the sky (the survey field Extended Groth Strip) specifically to observe distant galaxies with a redshift z ~ 1. AEGIS incorporated data from multiple space and ground telescopes, including:

• Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope (CFHT), including CFHTLS data.
• Chandra X-ray Observatory (CXO).
• Galaxy Evolution Explorer (GALEX).
• Hale Telescope.
• Hubble Space Telescope (HST).
• Keck Observatory, i.e., DEEP2.
• MMT.
• Spitzer Space Telescope (SST).
• Subaru Telescope.
• Very Large Array (VLA).

Much of the observation was in the 2003-2005 time frame with some continuing until roughly 2010.
