WiggleZ

(survey aimed at mapping dark energy)

WiggleZ was a survey aimed at dark energy characterization that was conducted from 2006 to 2011 with the Anglo-Australian Telescope (AAT) using the AAOmega spectrograph with the 2dF camera. It measured redshifts for a quarter million blue emission line galaxies (ELGs) covering redshifts from 0.2 to 1.0, selected from Galaxy Evolution Explorer (GALEX) surveys.
