Venus Express

(Venus probe launched by ESA in 2005)

The Venus Express was a Venus probe launched into Venus orbit in 2005 by the European Space Agency (ESA). After a primary mission of two years, it continued operation into 2014. All contact was lost in early 2015 and it is presumed to have eventually been destroyed, falling into Venus's atmosphere. Instruments:
