ultra-high-energy gamma rays

(UHEGR)
(energetic gamma rays with more than 100 TeV photon energy)

The term ultra-high-energy gamma rays (UHEGR) is used for gamma rays with more than 100 TeV photon energy. This energy span is next after that of very-high-energy gamma rays (VHEGR) (100 GeV to 100 TeV). UHEGR photons have not been detected.
