TOLIMAN

(Telescope for Orbit Locus Interferometric Monitoring of our Astronomical Neighborhood)
(plan for a small space telescope)

TOLIMAN (for Telescope for Orbit Locus Interferometric Monitoring of our Astronomical Neighborhood) is a planned 12.5-cm space telescope specialized to identify extra-solar planets on nearby stars using narrow-angle astrometry (astrometry measuring very narrow angular distances between astronomical objects). Alpha Centauri is a primary target along with other promising stars within 10 parsecs. The spacecraft is a 16U CubeSat, which will share a launch with other small satellite missions. A 2027 launch is planned.
