TD-1A
(Thor-Delta 1A, TD-1)
(1970s European observatory-satellite with UV telescopes)
TD-1A (for Thor-Delta 1A, aka TD-1) was a space observatory
satellite launched by the European Space Research Organisation (ESRO) in 1972 for the
purpose of surveys, which operated into 1975.
It included UV spectrometers as well as instruments
sensing/viewing cosmic rays, X-rays, and soft gamma rays.
