T association
(stellar association with T-Tauri stars)
A T association is a stellar association (a loose group of stars
of similar spectral class) that includes a lot of T-Tauri stars (TTSs).
Some also include OB stars, and some are near
molecular clouds that appear to be their source.
An example T association is the Taurus-Auriga T association,
which is the nearest to us,
about 140 parsecs,
thus of interest for observation.
