SGR 1935+2154
(Milky Way SGR generating FRBs)
SGR 1935+2154 is a soft gamma repeater (SGR), the object
discovered in 2014 and determined to have produced a fast radio burst (FRB)
detected in April 2020 (FRB200428), making it the first
FRB source found within the Milky Way. It has since been
discovered to be an FRB repeater. It is theorized to be a
magnetar.
