Palomar Testbed Interferometer
(near-infrared interferometer experiment)
The Palomar Testbed Interferometer (PTI)
was a near-infrared optical interferometer
at Palomar Observatory operating from 1995 to 2008.
It incorporated three .4m telescopes,
using two at a time, the longest baseline being 110m.
Its accomplishments include direct stellar radius determination
of some giant stars.
