Panoramic Imaging Survey of Centaurus and Sculptor
(PISCeS)
(survey of extended halos of two nearby galaxies)
The Panoramic Imaging Survey of Centaurus and Sculptor (PISCeS)
is a survey of the extended halos
of two galaxies, Centaurus A and the Sculptor Galaxy, e.g., to
observe and identify new satellite galaxies, stellar streams,
and globular clusters. Observations were carried out 2015-2017.
Among the discoveries were ultra-faint dwarf galaxies.
