PHAT, for Panchromatic Hubble Andromeda Treasury was a survey of stars in Andromeda (M31), with observations by Hubble Space Telescope (HST) WFC3 and ACS/WFC, with observations in 2010-2011. Crowd-sourcing (using Zooniverse) was used to aid analysis of the images. PHATTER, for Panchromatic Hubble Andromeda Treasury: Triangulum Extended Region was a subsequent analogous effort for Triangulum Galaxy (M33), with observations in 2017-2018. PHAST, for Panchromatic Hubble Andromeda Southern Treasury was yet another effort continued on M31, imaging its southern half, with observations in 2021-2024.
