(group of molecular clouds with star forming regions)

Orion Molecular Cloud Complex (or Orion Complex or Orion Molecular Clouds) is a group of molecular clouds including star-forming regions, in the constellation Orion. Included are two giant molecular clouds, Orion A and Orion B. The complex spans around 100 parsecs, and is roughly 400 pc distant.
