OGLE-2005-BLG-390Lb

(probable rocky planet orbiting red dwarf)

OGLE-2005-BLG-390Lb a super-Earth discovered through gravitational microlensing by the Danish 1.54-m telescope at La Silla Observatory. The planet's host star is likely an M dwarf and there is some chance it is a rocky planet. Characteristics:

Each of these determinations has a substantial uncertainty: detection of microlensing can fairly reliably indicate an extra-solar planet yet provide very limited data on the system.
