NEAT
(Near-Earth Asteroid Tracking)
(survey tracking near-Earth objects)
NEAT (for Near-Earth Asteroid Tracking) was a NASA
survey to discover and track near-Earth objects,
a successor to the Planet Crossing Asteroid Survey (PCAS).
It was carried out from 1995 until 2007 when more
ambitious such projects were underway.
Over its life, it utilized three meter-class telescopes
in Hawaii and California, discovering more than 40,000 minor planets.
