Mars Express
(Mars probe launched by ESA in 2003)
The Mars Express
is a Mars probe launched into Mars orbit in 2003 by the European Space Agency (ESA).
A lander called Beagle 2 failed to land.
The orbiter is still in operation as of 2023.

- OMEGA - Observatoire pour la Minéralogie, l'Eau, les Glaces et l'Activité.
- SPICAM - ultraviolet and infrared atmospheric spectrometer.
- PFS - Planetary Fourier Spectrometer.
- ASPERA - Analyzer of Space plasmas and Energetic Atoms.
- HRSC - High Resolution Stereo Camera.
- MELACOM - Mars Express Lander Communications.
- MaRS - Mars Radio Science Experiment.
- VMC - Visual Monitoring Camera.
