The IMAGE spacecraft (for Imager for Magnetopause-to-Aurora Global Exploration) imaged the Earth's magnetosphere and its response to solar wind from its 2000 launch until contact was lost in 2005. Instruments:

Contact with the spacecraft was made for a while in 2018, but lost again.
