EXCLAIM

(Experiment for Cryogenic Large-Aperture Intensity Mapping)
(planned balloon-borne 70-cm telescope with spectrometers)

EXCLAIM (for Experiment for Cryogenic Large-Aperture Intensity Mapping) is a NASA project for balloon-borne spectrometers for intensity mapping carbon monoxide and [CII] lines with a spectral resolution of R = 512, covering a redshift range of 0 < z < 3.5. As of January 2024, a Fall 2024 flight is envisioned.
