EF Eridani

(binary star including a substellar object)

EF Eridani is a binary star in which the smaller binary companion (EF Eridani B) is a substellar object with the appearance of a (former) star that lost most of its mass to its companion. It is a planetary mass object (PMO) presumably originally created through the star formation process rather than typical planet formation. The more-massive EF Eridani A is a white dwarf.
