DASI (for Degree Angular Scale Interferometer)
was a compact microwave interferometer
of 13 20-cm telescopes,
deployed and used at South Pole Station from 2000 to 2003.
DASI's purpose was cosmic microwave background (CMB) investigation and it
detected polarization.
