CHIPSat

(Cosmic Hot Interstellar Plasma Spectrometer Satellite)
(small satellite to investigate ISM plasma)

CHIPSat (for Cosmic Hot Interstellar Plasma Spectrometer Satellite) is a small satellite (microsatellite) intended to carry out spectrography on extreme ultraviolet from interstellar medium plasma within 300 light-years. The signal was smaller than expected. It was launched in 2003 and after its primary mission, was converted into a solar observatory. It was decommissioned in 2008 but still orbits.
