Anticenter Shell
(Anticenter Superbubble)
(nebula at edge of Milky Way)
The Anticenter Shell is an HI supershell located at the
galactic anticenter, i.e., from Earth, in the direction within the
celestial sphere opposite that of the galactic center.
The shell emits the 21-cm line.
Its dimensions are unclear because its exact
appearance is affected by the zone of avoidance.
