Arcminute Microkelvin Imager

(AMI)
(pair of microwave arrays)

The Arcminute Microkelvin Imager (AMI) consists of two radio (microwave) arrays at Mullard Radio Astronomy Observatory (MRAO) near Cambridge, England. Their aim is to study galaxy clusters at cosmological distances through the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect on the CMB. They operate on a spectral band centered on 15 GHz.
