tremendously low frequency

(TLF)
(electromagnetic radiation, frequency below 3 Hz)

The term tremendously low frequency (TLF) is sometimes used for electromagnetic radiation (EMR) with a frequency below 3 Hz. Radio is sometimes described as having a lower frequency limit, and TLF is below such declared lower limits, making it within (or identical to) the subradio range. TLF is adjacent to and beyond the range termed extremely low frequency (ELF).
