WINGS
(Wide-field Nearby Galaxy-cluster Survey)
(all-sky survey investigating known galaxy clusters)
WINGS (for Wide-field Nearby Galaxy-cluster Survey)
was a follow-up survey of galaxy clusters
in the redshift range of 0.04 to 0.07 found in ROSAT data.
Observations were carried out using a number of telescopes,
in visible light, near infrared, and ultraviolet, and
included spectrography.
Observation data includes images as well as catalogs
listing the galaxies and other objects
within the fields.
