(investigation of exoplanet atmospheres)
The Ultimate Spitzer Phase Curve Survey (USPCS)
is a survey of phase curves of extra-solar planets
performed with Spitzer to study exoplanet atmospheres
and contribute to models. Along with the data collected,
select existing data from Spitzer and HST was used.
This is considered information-gathering
and a pilot for such studies in the future by the JWST.
