UltraVISTA

(near infrared survey using VISTA telescope)

UltraVISTA is a deep near-infrared astronomical survey carried out on the VISTA telescope. Its survey field is within that of Cosmic Evolution Survey (COSMOS), with deep coverage across an area of about 1.8 square degree, and even deeper coverage of four strips within this field of about 0.73 square degree. DR6, the final release was announced in May 2024.
