Trans-Atlantic Exoplanet Survey
(TrES)
(2000s exoplanet-search survey using three telescopes)
The Trans-Atlantic Exoplanet Survey (TrES)
was a survey to search for transients
indicating extra-solar planet transits.
It was carried out by three 4" (10-cm) telescopes,
one at Lowell Observatory, one at Palomar Observatory,
and the third (the STARE Telescope)
at Teide Observatory on the Canary Islands.
