Tokyo Photoelectric Meridian Circle
(Japanese telescope to determine the position of stars and planets)
The Tokyo Photoelectric Meridian Circle is a meridian circle
deployed in 1982 to measure the position of stars (astrometry),
which has been used to produce catalogs of star
positions published in the 1980s
and 1990s (Tokyo Photoelectric Meridian Circle Catalog,
Tokyo PMC Catalog, or PMC Catalog).
