Stripe 82
(SDSS field along the celestial equator also used for other surveys)
Stripe 82 is a well-known survey field which is a portion
of Sloan Digital Sky Survey's large survey field that has been used for
a number of other surveys. It is roughly a
rectangle of 120 degrees along the celestial equator,
with a width of roughly 2.5 degrees, centered at J00+00.
