Stephan's Quintet
(five galaxies grouped in the sky)
Stephan's Quintet is an obvious group of five
galaxies grouped in the celestial sphere. Four of them are
near each other and considered a compact group,
HCG 92:
- NGC 7317
- NGC 7318A
- NGC 7318B
- NGC 7319.
The fifth, NGC 7320 has a distinct redshift indicating it is
in the foreground.
