Spektr-RG is a German/Russian X-ray
space observatory launched in July 2019
for observation from the L2 Lagrangian point.
In the 1990s, an earlier spacecraft plan also called SPEKTR-RG
was developed, but canceled. It was to have the following
- JET-X (X-ray telescope).
- SODART (X-ray).
- FUVITA ("far ultraviolet imaging telescope array").
- TAUVEX ("Tel Aviv UV experiment")
- MART-LIME (UV)
- MOXE (X-ray).
