Subaru Deep Field
(SDF)
(survey of a small region of the sky using the Subaru telescope)
The Subaru Deep Field (SDF) was an astronomical survey
of a small (~quarter square degree) survey field (also called
the Subaru Deep Field) using the Suprime-cam of the Subaru Telescope
in 2002-2003, to discover and observe distant galaxies. The
field has been used for follow-up surveys.
