Satech-01

Satech-01 (Kongjian Xinjishu Shiyan 01) is a Chinese spacecraft with scientific instruments on board, including some astronomical instruments. It was deployed using a successful 2022 CAS Space booster-rocket test. (Sometimes science experiments that haven't been funded for a "production" launch make at-risk use of such test launches.) The astronomical instruments:

• SUTRI - Solar Upper Transition Region Imager.
• HEBS - High Energy Burst Searcher (gamma-ray burst sensor, also called GECAM-C, part of the GECAM project).
• LEIA - Lobster Eye Imager.

The latter is a technology-pathfinder for the future Einstein Probe (EP) mission's WXT (Wide-field X-ray Telescope).
