PDS 70 is a T-Tauri star (which is a type of pre-main-sequence star)
that has a protoplanetary disk and
two protoplanets (PDS 70b and PDS 70c),
making it an object of particular research interest.
PDS 70c has a circumplanetary disk,
possibly representing one type of Moon formation.
