NANTEN2
(millimeter telescope in Chile)
NANTEN2 is a 4-meter millimeter telescope
on the Atacama Desert in Chile (at an altitude of 4800 meters),
the initiative of a consortium of universities in Asia and Europe.
It began operation in 2006, a follow-on to NANTEN , a similar
telescope that began operation in 1996.
