Las Cumbres Observatory

Las Cumbres Observatory (LCO) is a world-wide network of telescopes with apertures in the 40 cm to 2 m range (Together they are known as LCOGT, for Las Cumbres Observatory Global Telescope, the individual sizes known as LCOGT 40-cm, LCOGT 1-m, and LCOGT 2-m, and similar phrases). They are operated robotically, scheduled as a group, and can carry out continuous multi-day observations. Currently the network has seven sites spread throughout the world. The individual sites each have one to five telescopes. Some of the types of instruments:
