HIPASS

(HI Parkes All Sky Survey)
(HI survey carried out 1997 to 2002)

HIPASS (for HI Parkes All Sky Survey) was an astronomical survey if HI emissions (21-cm line) over all of the celestial sphere that Parkes Observatory can observe, about 70% of the sky, carried out using the Parkes 64m Telescope. Discoveries include galaxies and HI regions. Among the astronomical catalogs produced, of galaxies identified by their HI emissions:

HI Jodrell All-Sky Survey (HIJASS) was an analogous survey to cover the rest of the northern hemisphere.
