GUPPI
(Green Bank Ultimate Pulsar Processing Instrument)
(past radio-telescope back-end aimed at processing pulsar data)
GUPPI (Green Bank Ultimate Pulsar Processing Instrument)
was a back end instrument for the Green Bank Telescope
(working in conjunction with an existing GBT receiver)
for observing pulsar timing over a wide (800 MHz) band.
It was a project of National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO).
In 2017, the GBT website stated it would retire in 2018.
