GALFORM
(semi-analytic galaxy formation model)
GALFORM is a semi-analytic model of galaxy formation,
incorporating a Monte Carlo method. Such semi-analytical models can avoid
some of the computation of cosmological simulations,
allowing much more rapid exploration of possible parameters.
