double transit

(star showing transits of two bodies)

A double transit is a stellar phenomena suggesting two bodies transiting the star, which is evidence of a system with at least two extra-solar planets. Such a star system is termed a double transit system. The transits may overlap, suggesting a moon or a very lucky find of planets in resonance.

Another indication of multi-planet systems is transit timing variations (TTV).
