Dynamical Analysis of Nearby Clusters

(DANCe, COSMIC DANCe)
(survey of stars in stellar clusters)

Dynamical Analysis of Nearby Clusters (DANCe) is an astronomical survey aimed at revealing the dynamics of local stellar clusters and stellar associations by surveying the proper motion of their stars. Data from existing archives has been gathered and some additional observations were carried out using CFH telescope's MegaCam, totaling proper motions of over three million stars. Products of the effort include of a number of catalogs of clusters of interest. COSMIC DANCe is a more-recently-adopted name for the effort.
