Catalog of Stellar Identifications
(1970s catalog cross referencing existing star catalogs)
The Catalog of Stellar Identifications (abbreviated CSI) is a
1970s/1980s astronomical catalog cross referencing (essentially
merging) a number of existing major star catalogs. Over 400,000
stars were included. The data was used to help create SIMBAD.
