Arecibo Occultation Survey
(AO)
(1960s radio survey using occultations by the Moon)
The Arecibo Occultation Survey (AO) was
a radio astronomical survey
and resulting catalog
including very accurate location data gained using occultation,
by viewing radio sources as they
disappear behind and appear from behind the Moon.
The survey data was published in the late 1960s.
